Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead enterprise technology initiatives across banking and software development projects. You will drive project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment while coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.

This contract role requires a PMP or equivalent, 8+ years' experience in financial services or tech, and strong communication, risk management, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
• 8+ years of project management experience within financial services, technology, software development, systems integration, or business operations environments.
• Experience managing complex technology initiatives involving software development, vendor implementations, and enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, SDLC, and technology infrastructure concepts.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams within a matrixed organization.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues.
• Must be local to the San Antonio area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise technology projects supporting retail banking systems, software development initiatives, and third-party vendor implementations.
• Oversee projects from initiation through completion, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, track project dependencies, proactively manage risks and issues, and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, facilitate meetings, prepare status reports, and monitor project performance throughout the project lifecycle.
