Job summary

The Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) in New York City seeks a Senior Program Manager to deliver large-scale, enterprise-wide technology programs within ACS’s Office of Information Technology.

You will lead blended teams of consultants, vendors, and agency staff, manage UAT, risks, and reporting, and partner with executives to align scope, schedule, and cost with PMO methodologies to achieve targeted outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field.
• Six or ten years of full-time experience related to enterprise IT architecture and infrastructure.
• Equivalent education/experience acceptable per the listed options.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large, complex programs from initiation to completion.
• Develop project charters, weekly status reports, and risk logs.
• Oversee UAT planning and execution with end-user involvement.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and agency staff.
• Monitor budget, schedule, scope, and risk to ensure delivery.
• Provide executive-level project information and metrics.
• Mentor junior project managers on PMO methodologies.
