Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus four years of progressively responsible IT experience, including executive/ managerial capacity.
• Alternate combination with four years high school + three years executive IT experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Department of Social Services IT portfolio and manage cross-agency IT initiatives.
• Collaborate with Chief Officers and Deputy Commissioners on budget, mission fulfilment, and interagency projects.
• Lead enterprise IT initiative planning, chair the steering committee, and coordinate IT solutions.
• Advise on current practices, programs, and regulations related to data, technology, and information systems.
• Represent the DSS FDC in meetings with DSS leadership and partner agencies to shape long- and short-term plans.

Education

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years IT management experience
