Job summary

The New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) Office of Information Technology is seeking an experienced Senior IT Architect to deliver large-scale enterprise projects. You will lead program planning, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with executives to align technology with the agency’s mission.

Responsibilities include overseeing project charters, risk management, UAT, and reporting to the PMO Director. Public service and city government experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field; six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to enterprise/network architecture and IT infrastructure.
• Alternative: a bachelor's degree plus ten years of related experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead program and project planning and execution for large-scale IT initiatives.
• Manage multiple complex programs concurrently from initiation to completion within budget and schedule.
• Develop and execute communication plans for stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage deviations from scope and schedule.
• Oversee UAT planning and execution to ensure end-user requirements are met.
