Job summary

NWN is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead IT-based solutions across a portfolio of large and complex projects. You will ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget, coordinating cross-functional teams and contractors while applying NWN's PM methodologies.

The role emphasizes client-facing communication, risk management, and driving project success, with travel to client offices as required and after-hours support when necessary. NWN offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• PMP Certification or equivalent project management credential.
• 8+ years of IT project management experience.
• Experience developing comprehensive project plans (charter, scope, management plans, SOW, cost estimates, schedule).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and staff at all levels.
• Advanced experience managing project financials including forecasting and budget controls.
• Knowledge of PMBOK practices and methodologies.
• Experience with large or complex projects and coordinating multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project portfolio including large-scale/complex projects with 80% billable utilization.
• Oversee multiple service offerings (Network, Collaboration, Video) and integrate with platforms (Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft, Public Safety E911).
• Drive project and portfolio success, maintaining customer satisfaction and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
• Direct and coordinate all activities of project personnel and resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Forecast revenue across the portfolio and mitigate risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Apply NWN project management methodology (planning, budgeting, leadership, risk, communication, quality, stakeholders, monitoring, documentation, change management).
• Understand and articulate NWN service offerings and capabilities.
• Lead project teams and mentor other project managers/coordinators.
• Travel to client offices as required; provide after-hours support when needed.
