Job summary

ONI is seeking a senior IT Operations Leader to own day-to-day IT delivery and drive improvements across our US and UK sites. You will partner with our outsourced IT provider and take ownership of core systems, security, access, and service quality.

You will manage Microsoft 365/Entra ID, SSO, endpoint management, and related business systems while guiding IT projects and automation initiatives. A focus on risk, resilience, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of progressive internal IT experience in operations, infrastructure, or end-user support.
Experience acting as senior escalation point for complex IT issues.
Hands-on administration of identity, endpoint, collaboration, and access platforms in mixed Windows, MacOS, iOS environments.
Experience with outsourced IT support providers and managing escalations and service quality.
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshdesk).
Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials).
Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Responsibilities

Own IT operations across US and UK sites and outsourced provider relationships.
Lead delivery of IT projects from requirements through implementation and handover.
Manage identity, access, and endpoint lifecycle across platforms.
Maintain Microsoft 365/Entra ID and SSO configurations.
Oversee security, compliance, and vendor management initiatives.
Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and IT training for employees.
