Job summary

ScienceLogic is seeking a Professional Services Consultant to be the primary technical interface for customers using ScienceLogic products. The role blends hands-on implementation with consultative guidance, partnering with customer stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable solutions.

You will lead installation, configuration, and integration while driving issue resolution and delivering a strong customer experience across remote and onsite engagements.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and 6+ years supporting Federal customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong enterprise infrastructure administration across Windows and Unix/Linux, incl. 2+ years Linux.
• 4+ years supporting or implementing enterprise monitoring or APM like ScienceLogic/EM7, SolarWinds, Tivoli, Nagios.
• 2+ years SNMP experience with MIBs, traps, or Syslog.
• MySQL databases and scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or PHP.
• Knowledge of integration tech including WMI and XML/SOAP.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical consultant and SME for ScienceLogic product suite.
• Lead hands-on installation, configuration, implementation, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with customer teams to understand needs and provide clear technical direction.
• Act as internal advocate by driving problem resolution and collecting feedback.
• Independently manage competing priorities and project timelines with internal teams.
• Create and maintain accurate project and technical documentation.
• Support customer IT, security, ATO, audit, and change-management processes.
• Deliver high-quality consulting remotely and onsite as engagements require.
