Job summary

ScienceLogic is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Professional Services Consultant to serve as the primary onsite technical interface for Federal customers in the DMV region. You will lead installation, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of ScienceLogic solutions while collaborating with customer teams and identifying future enhancements.

The role emphasizes independent engagement leadership, strong scripting skills, and deep enterprise monitoring experience across Linux/Windows

Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting Federal customers.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• 7+ years with enterprise infrastructure monitoring, network management, or application performance platforms.
• 5+ years hands-on Linux administration/support experience.
• Strong enterprise infrastructure knowledge across Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise monitoring/network management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SNMP, MIBs, traps and Syslog.
• Experience with MySQL and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar).
• Strong customer-facing, troubleshooting, communication and consultative skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead customer engagements and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite technical consultant and trusted advisor for a ScienceLogic Public Sector customer.
• Lead hands-on installation, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of ScienceLogic solutions.
• Partner with customer technical and management teams to provide technical guidance, problem resolution, and implementation support.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for issue resolution, product enhancements, and future needs.
• Maintain accurate project, customer communication, and technical documentation in ticketing and knowledge management systems.
• Support customer security, ATO, audit, and change-management processes while following Professional Services best practices.

• Strong enterprise infrastructure knowledge across Linux/Unix and Windows environments

• Experience implementing and troubleshooting enterprise monitoring/network management solutions

• Hands‑on experience with SNMP, MIBs, traps and Syslog

• Experience with MySQL and scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash or similar)

• Strong customer‑facing, troubleshooting, communication and consultative skills

• Ability to work independently, lead customer engagements and manage competing priorities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Preferred

• Experience with ScienceLogic/EM7, SolarWinds, NetCool/Tivoli, Nagios, HP OpenView or similar EMS/NMS platforms

• Experience with REST/integrations, WMI, XML/SOAP and Linux scripting

• ServiceNow, PagerDuty or other ITSM integration experience

• PHP and/or Python experience
