Job summary

Amentum is seeking an IT Operations & Maintenance Manager to supervise design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. This role interfaces with LM clients to optimize Enterprise Network performance while ensuring cybersecurity and budget compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, 10+ years IT experience with 5 years in leadership, and strong communication and customer service skills to support LMSP customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with 5 in leadership.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• No professional certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Operations and Maintenance department personnel ensuring safety.
• Oversee reliable and secure operation of the LM Enterprise Network and provide help desk support.
• Communicate with the Client and LMSP customers to understand goals and provide status.
• Manage fiscal year budgets for IT O&M.
• Actively recruit staff and provide mentorship.
• Approve SOPs for Network Operations Team.
• Represent LM and LMSP professionally.
• Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft solutions, enterprise servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
