Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Site Manager to lead preventive maintenance programs and optimize facility operations. You will manage budgets, supervise critical infrastructure repairs, and implement sustainable practices that reduce costs while maintaining safety.

You will oversee PM excellence, lifecycle asset management, and use CMMS to improve work orders and KPIs. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 8 years of experience in industrial Facilities Maintenance considered equivalent
• 5+ years of facility operations/maintenance supervisory experience in a technical field
• Experience purchasing and managing subcontracts or vendors
• Experience utilizing CMMS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience creating PowerPoint presentations for large audiences
• Staff management experience including hiring, disciplinary action and performance appraisals
• Experience in metrics and data mining to drive performance
• Proactive problem identification and solution development
• Predictive maintenance experience (infrared, ultrasonic, vibration, oil analysis)
• Experience in budgeting and contract negotiation
• Experience in new business start‑ups
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred: IFMA/AFE/BOMA certifications, GMP environment experience
• CMRP, STS certification suggestions

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning and System Optimization
• Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive Preventive Maintenance programs
• Lifecycle Asset Management for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Leverage CMMS to streamline work orders and track KPIs
• Perform routine safety and quality walkdowns
• Direct maintenance, repair and improvement of building systems (HVAC, fire/safety, power)
• Source, negotiate, and manage third-party service contracts
• Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and workplace safety
• Budget management and cost-saving through energy efficiency
• Lead multidisciplinary team of technicians and staff
• Analyze facility data and utility trends to optimize resources
• Maintain client relationship and service quality
