Job description

Seeking an experienced IT Operations/Infrastructure Manager to lead and optimize enterprise infrastructure operations across a multi-site environment. This individual will oversee the design, implementation, security, and ongoing maintenance of core infrastructure systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational efficiency across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in infrastructure management, network administration, systems engineering, cybersecurity best practices, and vendor coordination within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, telecommunications, cloud platforms, and data center operations.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address system reliability, availability, and capacity planning.
• Oversee network architecture, connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, and communication systems.
• Manage infrastructure-related projects including upgrades, migrations, implementations, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure environments meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams and business stakeholders to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity procedures.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners.
• Establish and maintain infrastructure policies, standards, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to infrastructure and support personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
• Strong expertise with enterprise networking, Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, storage systems, and cybersecurity practices.
• Experience supporting infrastructure in regulated or security-focused environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery planning, backup technologies, and business continuity frameworks.
• Familiarity with IT governance, infrastructure monitoring tools, and change management processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional technology initiatives.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments and enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Azure, ITIL, or cybersecurity-related credentials are a plus.
