Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator.
- 9+ years of Bash scripting experience.
- 7+ years of Perl/Python programming experience.
- 7+ years of Linux (Redhat/CentOS) experience.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML/XML/Java EE).
- 3+ years of virtualization experience.
- 7+ years of Puppet 3+ experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
- Support hardware issues and participate in resolution processes.
- Configure and manage Linux operating systems and related software.
- Develop Bash scripts to improve stability and deployment repeatability.
- Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provide Tier I help desk support and issue resolution.
- Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide detailed feedback to management on escalated tickets.
