Job summary

Tines is seeking a Senior IT Operations Technician to join our global IT team. This remote-friendly, senior contributor role focuses on managing enterprise platforms, resolving complex operational issues, mentoring the IT Operations team, and driving automation across a distributed organization.

You'll balance day-to-day support with project ownership, lead root-cause analyses, and collaborate with Security to meet federal GCC High requirements. Preference for PST overlap with Australia.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of IT Operations experience or equivalent senior-level breadth.
• Proven administration experience with enterprise platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with GCC High or another regulated government cloud environment is preferred.
• Experience leading root-cause analysis and implementing scalable technical or process improvements.
• Experience acting as a technical escalation point and mentoring or coaching other IT professionals.
• Strong judgment balancing employee experience, security, reliability, speed, and business impact.
• Having an automation mindset with focus on security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert IT Operations support to employees across a globally distributed organization.
• Investigate and resolve complex operational issues, considering employee experience, security, reliability, and business impact.
• Mentor and coach IT Operations team members and assist with documentation and operational decisions.
• Support employees and IT services in the federal GCC High environment, including GCC High administration.
• Partner with Security and other teams to meet federal operational, security, and compliance requirements.
• Lead root-cause analyses for recurring or high-impact issues and drive scalable improvements.
• Surface operational risks and improvement opportunities to IT leadership.
