Job summary

Tines is looking for a Senior IT Operations Technician to join our global IT team. This is a senior individual contributor role balancing day-to-day support with project work, automation, and process improvements across a broad technology stack.

You will manage enterprise platforms, support our federal GCC High environment, mentor the wider IT Operations team, and serve as an escalation point. This remote US role covers multiple time zones and reports to the IT Manager in the Eastern Time Zone.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of IT Operations at senior level.
• Advanced administration of enterprise platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Jira, identity providers, MDM).
• Microsoft 365 administration with GCC High or regulated government cloud experience preferred.
• Experience leading root-cause analysis and implementing scalable improvements.
• Experience as escalation point and mentoring other IT professionals.
• Strong judgment balancing employee experience, security, reliability, speed and business impact.
• Automation mindset with focus on security, reliability, scalability.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert IT Operations support to employees across a globally distributed organization.
• Investigate complex operational issues, determine resolutions, considering security, reliability, and business impact.
• Mentor and coach IT Operations team members; assist with documentation and operational decisions.
• Support employees and IT services in federal GCC High environment; administer GCC High environments and related services.
• Partner with Security and other teams to support operational, security, and compliance requirements for federal environments.
• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring or high-impact issues and implement scalable improvements.
• Surface operational risks and opportunities to IT leadership.
