Job summary

The Mesa Police Department seeks an IT Manager to lead service strategy across technology platforms, aligning investments with city needs and architected roadmaps.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in IT management, strong networking, security and infrastructure expertise, and a proven track record in vendor management and budgeting. This role requires collaboration with business partners and a proactive, detail‑oriented leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Management/PA/PM or related field.
• 5+ years IT management or project leadership experience.
• 3–5 years leading large-scale systems or services.

Responsibilities

• Develop the service strategy for IT platforms and guide DoIT investments.
• Define and manage SLAs; monitor service performance and cost drivers.
• Lead continuous improvement, align with architecture roadmap, and mentor staff.
• Coordinate with architects and vendors on new technologies and lifecycle plans.
• Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and multi-project delivery to City departments.
