Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an experienced IT leader to shape and execute our technology strategy across global operations. You will direct IT governance, infrastructure, and security, while guiding a high-performing team to deliver enterprise-scale projects and API integrations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
8 to 10+ years’ of proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
Working knowledge of C#, VB.NET, MS SQL, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.
Proficient in computer applications and interface, and IT security.
Leadership and Project Management skills.
Financial Services knowledge in mutual funds would be an asset.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience implementing and maintaining APIs would be an asset.

Evaluate, select, and implement software applications that meet business requirements.

Mitigate project risks and resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes.
Evaluate and select vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts and SLAs.
Monitor vendor performance and adherence to SLAs.
Manage relationships with vendors and resolve issues.
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user skills and knowledge.
Maintain a knowledge base and documentation for IT systems and processes.
Foster a customer-centric approach to IT support, ensuring prompt resolution of user problems.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
