Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking an IT Engineer to design, implement, administer, and optimize its technology infrastructure. The role spans systems engineering, network management, cloud operations, and cybersecurity, with a focus on architecture and lifecycle management.

You will build and troubleshoot servers, manage diverse OS environments, and support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune, Jira/Confluence, and Slack. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• 5–7 years of progressive hands‑on experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or network engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on engineering, administration, and troubleshooting of systems, servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers from deployment through ongoing management.
• Administer Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux environments.
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects and provide Tier 3 technical support.
