The Gorman-Rupp Company is seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician III to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot our enterprise network and core systems. This senior role supports secure, reliable services across locations and data centers while guiding infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Senior enterprise support experience in a complex environment.
• 10+ years hands-on IT, with lead/expert capacity.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and interdependent technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Install, configure, patch, and support VMware ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP, and storage.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, SCIM, SSO, and on-prem AD.
• Perform data center installations and plan upgrades, firmware updates, and replacements.
• Administer Next-Generation firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs, and firewall high-availability.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity, performance, and availability issues across layers.
• Monitor capacity and performance; address recurring problems and reduce single points of failure.
• Lead infrastructure improvements; advise on architecture, capacity, lifecycle planning, and investments.
• Document requirements, risks, rollback plans, and maintenance windows.
