Job summary

McKinstry is hiring a Senior Helpdesk Technician for our Dallas office and regional sites. You will deliver hands-on deskside and remote support, build and image PCs, deploy software, and manage endpoints using SCCM/Intune and Azure AD.

Excellent communication and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential. The role requires in-person customer-first service, on-call rotation, and a 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM in-office shift.

Qualifications

• 5 years of helpdesk or deskside support experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and enterprise apps.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools such as SCCM/Intune and Azure AD.
• Demonstrated ability to support AV systems for meetings/events.
• Excellent verbal communication, comfortable with engaging senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and phone-first technical support to staff in Dallas office and remote locations.
• Perform new hire builds, PC replacements, imaging, and software deployments.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft 365/Office apps, and related productivity tools.
• Manage endpoints using SCCM/Intune and Azure AD.
• Handle printer support, peripherals, and desk-side hardware issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation for time-sensitive issues.
• Assist with light IT project management tasks and tracking.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and assets.
• Serve as escalation resource for less experienced staff.
