Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks an experienced IT GRC leader to direct governance, risk, and compliance programs. You will align technology risk posture with regulatory expectations and enterprise risk appetite, communicating complex themes to executives and the Board.

The role requires deep knowledge of banking regulations, risk frameworks, and control design, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive remediation across IT and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT risk, GRC, cybersecurity, or technology audit experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in leadership or program management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated financial institution; community or regional bank experience preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Owns and matures the enterprise IT GRC program including policies, standards, procedures, and control frameworks.
• Leads technology governance councils with agenda-setting, reporting, and action item tracking.
• Operates AI governance standards including AI inventory, lifecycle controls, and vendor use-case oversight.
• Directs the enterprise technology risk assessment program across infrastructure, applications, data, cloud, and third-party environments.
• Develops and reports technology risk metrics and KRIs for senior leadership and Board committees.
• Manages the IT risk register, risk identification, scoring, ownership, treatment plans, and remediation workflows.
• Primary IT GRC contact for regulatory examinations and internal/external audits related to technology, cybersecurity, and operational risk.
• Oversees Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities, including vendor due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
