Job summary

Steptoe LLP is seeking a senior IT commercial leader reporting to the CIO, accountable for end-to-end financial governance of the firm's global technology portfolio. You will oversee budgets, vendor contracts, procurement, invoicing, and licensing across North America, Europe and Asia.

You will partner with Finance, Legal/OGC, Risk, and IT leadership to align investments with firm objectives, ensure compliance, and drive cost transparency and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, or related field; MBA or certs preferred.
• 10+ years IT financial management, vendor management, procurement, contract, and licensing experience.
• Experience supporting professional services or regulated environments (Am Law 100) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT financial management across the firm's global technology portfolio.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, performance, governance, and renewals.
• Manage end-to-end IT purchase order and invoice lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Own software licensing program, inventory, true-up, and cost optimization.
• Develop dashboards and reports on IT commercial performance for CIO and leadership.
