Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks a Technology Cost Management leader to own the ITFM/TCO methodology and drive transparent cost decisions for technology leadership and business stakeholders.

The role partners across Finance, Procurement, and Technology to optimize spend, align governance, and deliver trusted cost insights for senior leaders. A finance background with enterprise-scale cost management experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ITFM/TCO programs in a large enterprise.
• Proven ability to translate cost data into actionable insights for executives.
• Experience designing cost allocation, showback, and chargeback frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own the TCO/ITFM methodology, including cost pools and allocation rules.
• Establish showback reporting and chargeback readiness with governance artifacts.
• Define framework to identify, size, track, and report cost optimization opportunities.
• Validate realizations vs targets; distinguish actuals, estimates, and advisory analysis.
• Develop KPIs, reporting standards, and executive narratives for cost transparency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Infra, Apps, Cloud, Service Catalog, CMDB to improve data quality.
