Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system problems.
• Ability to deploy new technology and work on projects with others.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate tech terms for non-tech staff.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, digital workspace and storage tech.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports IT systems and infrastructures.
• Performs moderately complex analysis including planning and evaluating IT tools.
• Backs up users and handles more complex requests.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems with minimal supervision.
• Implements standards for operations and compatibility between hardware and software.
• Administers tests on operating systems and related software.
• Schedules, performs, and monitors backups and data recovery as needed.
• Performs root cause analysis and monitoring of production systems.
• Identifies process improvements and implements efficiencies with the team.
• Maintains documentation and user guides for systems.
• Participates in planning and designing new platforms and evaluating new tech.
• Conducts cost analysis of new platforms and technologies.
• Creates recovery plans to minimize downtime during outages.
• Reviews problem management logs and defines actions.
• Applies scripting to automate related tasks.
