Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking an IT professional to monitor and support diverse information systems across multiple disciplines. The role encompasses administration, planning, design, and ongoing improvement of enterprise IT infrastructures in the Trenton area.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, implement standards, manage backups, and contribute to documentation and the rollout of new platforms and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or CS or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of IT, systems administration, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft OS and related products.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, digital workspace and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support IT systems infrastructures.
• Conduct moderately complex analysis including planning, designing, and evaluating IT tools.
• Respond to user requests for system needs and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems with minimal supervision.
• Implement standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software.
• Administer, run tests on, and maintain operating systems and related software.
• Schedule, perform, and monitor backups and data recoveries.
• Create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
• Plan and design new platforms and integrating new technologies.
• Conduct cost analysis of newly designed platforms and technologies.
• Create and review technical recovery plans to reduce downtime.
• Apply scripting methodologies to automate related tasks.
