Job summary

Inserso is seeking an Area Technical Lead to provide onsite and remote Tier 2 IT support for DHS customers worldwide. The lead Systems Engineer will manage LAN/WAN, servers, storage, backups, and end-user devices in a 24x7 environment.

This role reports to a Contractor Team Lead, coordinates projects, and conducts regular reporting. Candidates should have 8 years in IT support, 3 years in a lead role, and an Associate Degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and pass DHS E-Verify.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of IT-related support experience, preferably in progressive technical roles.
• 3 years’ experience in a lead technical role or supervisory position supporting 5+ users.
• 1+ year experience in a lead role or supervisory position.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct engineers; monitor work quality and provide technical direction.
• Escalate technical issues and mentor new employees.
• Prepare and submit IT service reports and data calls.
• Coordinate LAN/WAN administration and server/storage maintenance.
• Provide on-site and remote Tier II support for 24x7 environments.
• Perform after-hours support during weekly on-call rotations.
