Inserso Corporation invites an Area Technical Lead to join our DHS-focused team in West Valley City, UT. The role covers onsite and remote Tier II IT support for a broad range of hardware, software, networks, and cloud services.

You will lead engineers, coordinate deployments, prepare reports, and mentor staff while ensuring service quality and client satisfaction in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS E-Verify process.
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of IT-related support experience.
• 3 years of experience in a lead technical role.
• 1+ year experience leading a team of 5 or more.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and beyond as needed.
• Experience across telecommunications concepts, OS, databases and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineers, delegate tasks, monitor work quality and provide technical direction.
• Support escalations and mentor new employees.
• Act as senior technical point of contact for key customers.
• Prepare and submit IT service-related reports and data calls.
• Lead meetings with engineers, external groups and client IT management.
• Provide LAN administrator support for network devices, servers and backups.
