Job summary

Inserso seeks Area Technical Leads to provide onsite and remote Tier II IT support for DHS customers worldwide. The role covers hardware, software, networks, cloud, and end-user devices in a 24x7 environment.

The Lead Systems Engineer will mentor junior staff, coordinate escalations, prepare reports, and act as the go-to contact for key clients while ensuring service levels and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and pass DHS verification.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years IT support experience; 3+ years enterprise support.
• 1+ year in lead technical role supporting 5+ staff.
• Willingness to travel; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineers; delegate tasks and monitor quality.
• Escalate and mentor for new employees; provide training.
• Serve as senior POC for key DHS customer(s).
• Prepare periodic IT service reports and data calls.
• Lead meetings with engineers, support groups and client IT.
• Coordinate LAN admin support and network equipment maintenance.
• Support devices including PCs, printers, biometrics, and sensors.
