Job summary

Inserso Corporation is seeking an Area Technical Lead to support DHS customers worldwide. The role combines onsite and remote Tier 2 IT support to minimize downtime across hardware, software, networking, cloud, and related services.

The Area Technical Lead will head a team of systems engineers, provide technical guidance, and liaise with client IT management to ensure service quality around the clock.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process.
• 8 years of IT-related support experience, preferably through progressive technical roles.
• 3 years' experience providing technical enterprise support within a large, complex organization.
• 1+ year experience in a lead technical role or supervisory position supporting a group of 5 or more.
• Willingness to travel as required; motor vehicle records check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated engineers, delegate tasks, monitor work quality, and provide technical direction.
• Support escalations and mentor new employees in technical skills.
• Act as senior technical point of contact for assigned key customer(s).
• Prepare and submit IT service reports and data calls on schedule.
