Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Birmingham, AL, seeks a Senior Escalation Engineer to own the toughest IT challenges across a multi-company environment. You will serve as the final escalation point, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes across Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, networking, and cloud workloads.

You will mentor Systems Technicians, lead major incidents, and help raise the technical bar while shaping automation and documentation initiatives to reduce recurring issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Windows Autopilot and imaging/deployment experience.
• Experience with PXE-based imaging is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Intune administration experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot across endpoint, identity, network, and cloud layers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, networking, hardware, and cloud issues.
• Support Windows Autopilot and imaging/deployment initiatives.
• Implement approved configurations, remediation, and automation using PowerShell.
• Lead or contribute to major incident resolution.
• Create technical documentation and mentor Systems Technicians.
