Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Senior Manager IT, Enterprise Architecture - Generation to provide technology, architecture, people, and initiative leadership. This role shapes multi-year roadmaps, modernization efforts, and ensures scalable, secure solutions that support energy operations and business outcomes.

A senior technology leader will partner across business, IT, cybersecurity, data, and delivery teams to drive disciplined execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT architecture and technology-heavy roles, with a significant focus on platform design and development.
• 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience involving cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem resolution skills, adaptability to change and strong initiative.
• Deep expertise in designing and building scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise-grade IT platforms.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless, event-driven, API-first).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Generation business and technology leaders to translate priorities into architectural designs.
• Provide architectural guidance for Generation initiatives across plant operations, asset management, work management, outage support, reliability, OT/IT integration, data, analytics, and digital capabilities.
• Ensure Generation technology solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives and standards.
• Define, evangelize, and govern architectural principles, standards, and best practices across IT platforms.
• Develop and maintain the long-term platform architecture roadmap aligned with objectives, technology trends, and industry standards.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, secure platform solutions.
• Drive adoption of modern architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native) and relevant technologies.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to standards across teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
• Identify architectural risks and plan mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, operations, and cybersecurity to translate requirements into robust designs.
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance and problem solving for complex challenges.
• Oversee implementation of designs ensuring quality and standards.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
