Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (CS, CE, Engineering Technology)
• 10+ years of IT architecture and technology-heavy roles, with focus on platform design and development
• 3 years of leadership experience managing people or large cross-functional teams
• Analytical and problem-resolution skills; adaptable and proactive
• Deep expertise in designing scalable, reliable enterprise-grade IT platforms
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns (microservices, serverless, event-driven, API-first)

Responsibilities

• Translate priorities, regulatory considerations, and modernization needs into architectural designs
• Provide guidance for Generation initiatives across plant operations, asset management, work management, outages, OT/IT integration, data, analytics, and digital capabilities
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned with objectives and standards
• Define and govern architectural principles, standards, and best practices
• Develop a long-term platform architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives and industry standards
• Lead design and implementation of scalable platform solutions
• Drive adoption of modern architectural patterns and technologies
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to standards
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance capabilities and efficiency
• Identify risks and mitigate technical debt
• Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and cybersecurity to translate requirements into designs
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance and problem-solving
• Oversee implementation ensuring alignment with standards and quality
• Stay updated on technologies and industry trends
• Champion innovation and research in new architectural approaches
