Dicey, a crypto-native online operation with a fully remote team, seeks a Senior IT Engineer to own its entire IT environment. You will manage Okta identity, Google Workspace, MDM, and automation tooling, shaping security, access controls, and cost-conscious SaaS usage across borders.

The role emphasizes hands-on ownership, autonomous work, and leveraging LLm-assisted tooling to push manual tasks into automated workflows while supporting AI-driven helpdesk simplifications.

Qualifications

• Several years of IT engineering experience as senior or sole owner of a company's IT environment.
• Deep, hands-on Okta experience: integrating apps over SAML and OIDC, SCIM provisioning, push groups, Okta Workflows, lifecycle mgmt from HRIS.
• Google Workspace administration at super-admin level, across multiple domains/entities, incl. routing rules, logs, groups edge cases.
• MDM experience (Kandji or similar) plus Apple Business Manager, familiarity with endpoint security tooling.
• Ability to read/modify and ship changes to small production codebases — TypeScript using LLm tools.
• Security/compliance mindset: offboarding, official ticket workflows, governance.
• Comfort operating alone: prioritizing your queue and automating repeat tasks, incl. FedEx forms.

Responsibilities

• Own identity end to end: Okta IdP, SAML/OIDC app federation, SCIM provisioning, HRIS-driven lifecycle.
• Administer Google Workspace across several domains with OU, aliases, groups, routing and billing reconciliation.
• Run device management for a mostly macOS fleet: Apple Business Manager, MDM, OS version control, EDR, Cloudflare ZT.
• Maintain and extend automation: Cloudflare Worker, Okta Workflows, config-as-code, low-code automations, LLm tooling.
• Maintain AI support SOPs and ticket datasets to optimize automation trajectories.
• Handle hardware logistics: procurement, automated kits, international shipping, customs invoices, and asset inventory.
• Administer collaboration suite: Slack, Notion SCIM, legal holds, master/service accounts for entities.
• Track and reduce SaaS spend: license audits, seat management, build-versus-buy decisions.
