Job summary

Dash Bio in Waltham, MA seeks a Senior/Staff IT Engineer to own the technology stack that powers our platform. You will manage end-user computing, lab workstations, identity, network, security, and MSP relationships in a hands-on role.

This tech-first bioanalytical CRO requires Windows/macOS expertise and experience in regulated environments, with a focus on change control and documentation to keep science running reliably.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in IT and infrastructure for Senior level; 8–12 years for Staff.
• Experience in biotech/pharma or GMP/GLP/GCP regulated settings.
• Hands-on Windows workstation expertise; mixed Mac/Windows fleets.
• Lab/instrument system support experience preferred.
• SSO/identity provisioning, directory integration; Entra a plus.
• Strong networking, VPN, firewall skills; security acumen.
• AWS familiarity; MSP management experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage Mac and Windows fleets with modern MDM; imaging and provisioning.
• Maintain lab workstations with qualification and change control alignment.
• Operate SSO/identity infrastructure and provisioning processes.
• Maintain network, VPN, firewall and instrument connectivity reliability.
• Administer security stack, patches, backups, and audits support.
• Oversee Google Workspace, Slack, licensing, and integrations.
• Manage MSP relationships and SLA tracking; escalation handling.
• Adhere to GxP change control and comprehensive documentation.
