Job summary

Harvey Mudd College is seeking a Technical Analyst to join the CIS front-line support team, delivering on-campus AV, hardware, and software assistance to faculty, staff, and students. You will diagnose, document, and communicate solutions while contributing to a positive user experience.

In this role you will staff the Help Desk, provide training, and stay current with OS/browser updates; you will also help maintain and troubleshoot campus labs and AV equipment with a focus on security and user

Qualifications

• Configure and troubleshoot Windows and macOS hardware and devices.
• Strong technical support background for quick resolution of issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with campus users.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and trends.
• Ability to work well in a team with diverse IT competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for campus computers, software, printers, AV systems, and events.
• Document support requests in the CIS ticket system with issue/resolution details.
• Staff the Help Desk and AV events according to coverage schedules.
