Job summary

Boston University is seeking a Learning & Event Technology Specialist I for onsite support across the Charles River Campus. You will operate, install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot AV/IT tech for classrooms and events, delivering reliable live event support and livestreams.

Join the ITS LETS team to provide intermediate-level classroom and event tech assistance, prioritize requests, and train clients and student workers.

Qualifications

1+ years of AV/IT support experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
Experience with AV/IT in classrooms, meetings and events.
Experience with audience response, digital signage, projection, AV control, audio mixers, and lecture capture.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate, install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot AV/IT technology.
Provide intermediate-level support for classrooms, meetings, and events across BU campuses.
Prioritize requests, attend complex service calls, and help train clients and student workers.
Deliver excellent customer service with daily client interactions.
May include on-call hours; on-site role with occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.
