Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead RMF, ATO, and cybersecurity compliance for STARE products. You will coordinate with U.S. government stakeholders and foreign partners to address security requirements throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in IT and cybersecurity, DoD knowledge, and active U.S. citizenship with necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• 12 years of IT and cybersecurity experience.
• Experience leading RMF/ATO documentation and cybersecurity compliance.
• U.S. citizenship and DoD/NATO clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF/ATO activities, including documentation and deliverables.
• Assess system security, identify vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with DoD stakeholders and foreign partners on cybersecurity requirements.
• Prepare technical briefings and explain security requirements to stakeholders.
