Job summary

Specialty Systems, Inc. in Lakehurst, NJ is seeking a Senior ISSO to lead RMF/ATO activities for DoD systems.

You will coordinate security controls, develop accreditation packages, and ensure systems meet RMF requirements through design, testing, and sustainment. The role requires hands-on cybersecurity expertise, DoD/NIST knowledge, and collaboration with government leadership, SCAs, and engineers to deliver authorization decisions on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience developing RMF/ATO packages for DoD systems.
• Strong knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-37/800-53, and DISA STIGs.
• Hands-on RMF/ATO with DoD leadership coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RMF/ATO authorization packages.
• Act as SME for DoD, DoN, and DISA cybersecurity policies.
• Plan and coordinate vulnerability assessments and STIG evaluations.
• Interface with government personnel to resolve issues.
• Prepare SSPs, SAPs, SARs, RARs, POA&Ms and artifacts.
• Map security controls to system components and evidence.
• Maintain RMF execution schedule and milestones.
