Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead RMF/ATO and cybersecurity compliance for the STARE Product Office. You will partner with O-ISSM and engineers to address risks, document security plans, and support foreign military sales throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires DoD/Army knowledge, Top Secret clearance readiness, and strong stakeholder coordination to deliver secure, compliant solutions for national defense programs.

Qualifications

• Senior-level cybersecurity experience with RMF/ATO leadership.
• Proven ability to assess DoD/Army cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience coordinating with DoD/government stakeholders and international partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF and ATO activities, deliver cybersecurity documentation and authorization.
• Assess system security, identify gaps, and recommend risk mitigation.
• Coordinate security assessments, testing, remediation, and milestones.
• Interpret DoD/Army requirements across the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with O-ISSM, engineers, program teams, and partners.
