Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead RMF, ATO, and cybersecurity compliance for STARE products and FMS efforts at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

The role partners with the O-ISSM, engineers, and government stakeholders to assess risks and implement cyber solutions throughout the system lifecycle. The ISSO will prepare technical documentation, perform risk assessments, and coordinate international cybersecurity requirements for product delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years IT/cybersecurity experience with RMF/ATO
• DoD/Army cybersecurity requirements knowledge and DoD/NATO clearance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF and ATO activities including documentation and deliverables.
• Assess security, identify vulnerabilities, and propose mitigations.
• Coordinate with O-ISSM, engineers, and government stakeholders for risk decisions.
