Akira seeks a Team Lead / Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support the U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 8+ years managing complex DoD IT programs including contracts and deliverables.
• 4+ years hands-on ISSO including RMF packages, eMASS, A&A, and STIG remediation.
• Experience with budget oversight, staff management, risk mitigation, and subcontractor coordination.
• DoD cybersecurity compliance and maintaining ATOs for information systems.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 certifications and IAT level requirements; PMP preferred.
• Proficiency with RMF processes, NIST controls, and security operations in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contractor point of contact to government leadership on status, performance, risks, and actions.
• Oversee contract deliverables, milestones, and service expectations per the PWS.
• Develop and maintain a Program Management Plan covering scope, schedules, budget, and quality.
• Coordinate staffing, resources, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Perform hands-on ISSO duties across RMF lifecycle including authorization and monitoring.
• Prepare RMF packages, manage eMASS workflows, and coordinate A&A activities.
• Monitor security compliance, analyze vulnerability scans, and coordinate STIG remediation.
• Lead with program management and cybersecurity to maintain system authorization.
