Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer II to support cybersecurity operations onsite at its Andover, MA facility. The ISSO will oversee compliance, assessments, and documentation across programs, mentoring ISSOs and guiding day-to-day security activities.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years or an advanced degree with 5+ years in cybersecurity. DoD/NIST regulatory knowledge and IAM Level I certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity and RMF/DAAPM/JSIG/NISPOM guidance.
• Knowledge of DoD or government regulatory standards and cybersecurity controls.
• Hands-on experience with security tooling and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee cybersecurity configuration management and related docs.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments per RMF and DoD guidance.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures and tools.
• Support ISSOs and cybersecurity managers with writing and reviews.
• Oversee ISSOs to ensure policy and procedure implementation.
• Travel 10-20% to other Raytheon locations as needed.
