Job summary

RTX seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to join our 100% onsite cybersecurity team in Tucson, AZ. You will support ISSM, ensure compliance with NIST, RMF, JSIG, and related directives, and drive security education across programs.

The role requires a transferable DoD-level security clearance, strong auditing skills, and experience with multiple cybersecurity tools. Relocation is not offered; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years relevant cybersecurity experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with RMF/JSIG/DAAPM/NISPOM and regulatory standards.
• Experience with DoD classified environments is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess system compliance, monitor, audit, and educate on information security.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare corrective action reports.
• Review and approve configuration-management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative security assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, tools, and documentation.
