Job summary

Serco is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program in a RMF framework based out of Naples, Italy. The role covers categorizing the IS, selecting and implementing controls, and developing SSP/ISCM plans for continuous monitoring.

Qualified candidates will hold a DoD TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, IAT Level II, and a Bachelor's in IT/Cyber or related field, with 8+ years in cybersecurity/IT. Travel up to 10% and AFRICOM AOR readiness required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required
• U.S. Citizenship required
• IAT Level II baseline certification required
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Or High School diploma with technical training and minimum 10 years Cybersecurity/IT knowledge and experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum 8 years of Cybersecurity or IT knowledge and experience
• RMF and eMASS knowledge and experience
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to pass and maintain physical health standards for AFRICOM AOR travel
• Valid/Active U.S Passport required

Responsibilities

• Support categorization of the IS for RMF accreditation and SSP development
• Assist in selecting security controls, inherited controls and CCIs for IS/ STIG
• Develop MOUs/MOAs and ISCM plan/strategy
• Implement and upgrade approved IS security controls
• Develop, review, and approve Security Assessment Plan
• Operate and update IS security scanning tools and perform periodic scans
• Support development of the System Assessment Report (SAR)
• Contribute to the POA&M preparation and updates
• Develop and update the Security Authorization Package
• Perform periodic assessment of IS security controls
• Lead remediation actions from monitoring results
• Update SSP, SAR, RAR and POA&M based on continuous monitoring results
• Travel as required to support program needs
