Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the CNIC program from Naples, Italy. The role focuses on RMF-based authorization, IS security plans, and continuous monitoring across systems and applications.

The candidate will develop SSPs, select security controls, implement ISCM, and prepare SAR/POA&M with occasional travel up to 10%. A DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required, with RMF/eMASS expertise.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• US citizenship required.
• IAT Level II baseline certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical IT discipline or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity/IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist RMF package categorization and SSP development.
• Identify security controls, inherited controls, and CCIs for the IS.
• Develop and implement ISCM plans and POA&M.
• Implement and maintain security controls and perform periodic scans.
• Prepare SAR and related security documentation.
• Support SSP, SAR, and RAR updates after continuous monitoring.
• Collaborate on MOUs/MOAs and security testing.
• Support travel and security clearance coordination.
• Ensure compliance with DoD RMF processes and eMASS.
• Prepare and review Security Assessment Plans and related deliverables.
