Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support RMF authorization for DoD systems. Based in Naples, Italy, you will help acquire IATO/ATO approvals, define security controls, and develop SSPs and SCOs as part of the CNIC program.

The role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and an IAT Level II baseline. Minimum 8 years in cybersecurity/IT and ability to travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline with 10 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 8 years of Cybersecurity or IT related knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support RMF categorization and SSP development.
• Support selection of security controls, inherited controls, and CCI for the IS/ STIG.
• Develop MOU/MOA and ISCM plan/strategy.
• Implement and maintain security controls and IS security tools; perform periodic scans.
• Develop, review, and approve SAR, POA&M, and Security Authorization Package.
• Conduct remediation actions based on monitoring results and risk.
• Update SSP, SAR, RAR, and POA&M based on continuous monitoring results.
