Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time security events, including live audio interactions with monitored sites and rapid decision-making to de‑escalate threats. The role emphasizes alarm verification, video monitoring, and strict documentation in a fast-paced center.

You will work an on-site schedule with weekend/holiday requirements, receive comprehensive benefits, and participate in ongoing training to advance within the iSOC team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks/ virtual tours of customer locations, observing for vulnerabilities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business opening/closing or on request.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take appropriate action based on severity, including contacting emergency services.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve or support security inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the system of record.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and place calls to verify validity.
• Perform video verification of alarms to confirm incidents.
• Notify specified individuals per customer instructions.
• Provide life safety support by coordinating dispatch to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and reset assistance.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events with two-way audio.
• Intervene during incidents with authoritative communication.
• Handle situations like loitering or trespassing with de-escalation as needed.
• Document interactions and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life safety interventions.
