Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Linthicum, MD is seeking an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead with a strong hardware design and manufacturing background.

The role involves guiding teams through transition from design to production for a high-visibility program and coordinating with factory, engineering, and program management groups. The successful candidate will lead, communicate progress to leadership, and ensure readiness for production while meeting stringent timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or STEM-related degree, with 5 years of industry experience.
• Master's degree and 3 years of industry experience acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• Active Secret clearance required to start and ability to obtain SAP clearance.
• Experience with hardware design and/or hardware integration & test.
• Experience in the BWI production factory and/or factory test cell(s).
• Experience using SAP.
• Available onsite at the BWI facility during first shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team to transition designs to production for a time-critical priority program.
• Interface with factory test cells, Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance.
• Brief internal and external customer leadership on progress.
• Maintain self-motivation, organization and clear written/verbal communication.
