Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Linthicum, MD seeks an IPT Lead with hardware design and manufacturing experience to transition designs to production on a high-visibility program.

The role requires leading an engineering team, coordinating with factory test cells, Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance; strong communication skills are essential. Active Secret clearance is required to start, with potential for SAP clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or STEM-related field; 5 years industry experience or Masters with 3 years.
• Active Secret clearance required to start; must maintain clearance and obtain SAP clearance for continued employment.
• Experience with hardware design and/or hardware integration & test.
• Experience in the BWI production factory and/or factory test cells.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Leadership experience in IPT or similar roles.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team to transition designs to production for a priority program.
• Interface with factory test cells, Engineering & Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Mission Assurance.
• Brief internal and external customer leadership on progress.
• Manage time-critical elements and high-visibility tasks in a fast-paced environment.
