Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an IPT Lead with a strong RF integration background to guide a production-transition of critical hardware for a high-visibility program. The role requires interfacing with test cells, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, plus briefing leadership on progress.

The candidate will manage design-to-production transitions, leverage MBSE tools, and maintain schedule integrity in a fast-paced environment at the Linthicum, MD site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or STEM-related degree, with 14 years of industry experience, or master’s degree and 12 years of industry experience.
• Active and current Secret government clearance
• Experience with Front End Design (FED), RF Electronics, RF Cabling, COTS procurement and testing, and System Cabling
• Experience with hardware design and/or hardware integration & test and/or experience moving hardware through the BWI factory
• Demonstrated proficiency in CAM activities and the EVMS system
• Fluency with developing and executing project schedules
• Experience reporting project status to program, functional management and/or customers
• Demonstrated leadership skills with 1.5 years minimum experience as an IPT Lead or similar leadership role
• Available onsite at the BWI facility during first shift
• Mechanically focused engineer with drawing updates and drawing progression experience

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team to transition designs to production for a key priority program.
• Interface with Factor Test Cells, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Program Management; brief leadership on progress.
