Job summary

A legal services firm in Miami is looking for an experienced Intellectual Property Patent Docketing Specialist to manage patent filings and correspondence. The role requires excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and a solid understanding of U.S. and international patent processes. Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in an IP role, preferably with prior patent docketing experience. This full-time position is onsite in the Legal Department of the company.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of intellectual property experience in a law firm or legal services environment.
• Prior experience in patent docketing strongly preferred.
• Strong proofreading skills and ability to follow filing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, docket, and distribute correspondence from the USPTO and WIPO.
• Monitor daily docket deadlines and ensure all due dates are met.
• Generate docket reports and respond to internal requests for updates.
